Size Guide

One Size Fits All

Most Chaïa pieces are designed to be one size fits all. Our hand-crocheted garments feature a naturally stretchy weave that molds comfortably to different body shapes and sizes.

How It Fits

Crochet tops and dresses: The crochet construction stretches to accommodate a range of body types. These pieces are designed to drape loosely and flow naturally.

Crochet shorts: Stretchy waistband with a relaxed, comfortable fit. The metallic thread provides structure while remaining flexible.

Sets: Matching tops and bottoms are designed to be worn together or separately. Both pieces maintain the one-size-fits-all stretch fit.

Bags

Our hand-beaded bags come in fixed dimensions. Specific measurements are listed on each product page.

Detailed Fit Reference

Crochet tops: Designed to fit US sizes 0–10 (XS–L) comfortably. Bust accommodates approximately 32"–40". The crochet weave stretches an additional 2–3 inches without losing shape. Length is hip-grazing on a 5'6" frame.

Crochet dresses: Fit US sizes 0–10 with the same bust range. Length varies by style — mini dresses fall mid-thigh on 5'6", maxi styles fall to ankle. See individual product pages for length in inches.

Crochet shorts: Elastic waistband fits US sizes 0–10, accommodating waists from 24"–34". Inseam is approximately 3–4 inches.

Crochet sets: Top and bottom sized as above. Both pieces are designed to be mixed and matched with other Chaïa items.

Bag Dimensions

Each beaded bag has fixed dimensions listed on its product page. Most clutches are approximately 9"–11" wide × 5"–7" tall, with a chain or wristlet strap. Capacity comfortably fits a phone (including iPhone Pro Max sizes), a card holder, lipstick, and a small set of keys.

How to Measure Yourself

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight.

Waist: Measure around your natural waist (the narrowest point, usually just above the belly button).

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, typically 7–9 inches below your natural waist.

Why Most Chaïa Pieces Are One Size

Hand-crocheted garments are inherently flexible because the stitch structure stretches and recovers. By designing for a one-size-fits-most range, we avoid producing dozens of duplicate sizes that may go unsold (a major source of fashion waste). For pieces that need a structured fit, we offer custom sizing rather than approximate sizes.
