WHAT IS "ADDA"?

“Adda” refers to the wooden embroidery frame that holds fabric firmly in place, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted stitching. This tool is essential for intricate hand embroidery techniques like Aari and Zardozi, allowing artisans to craft precise, detailed designs.

Adda embroidery is a treasured tradition in Indian textile art, passed down through generations. For our Brazil Collection, each piece of clothing is carefully hand crocheted in Brazil, and proceeds go back to children in need in Brazil.
